Featured Image

To configure featured image behavior, go to HighGround → Settings, then click the Images tab.

When Enabled, HighGround automatically sets the first generated image in your article as the post’s featured image. This saves you from having to manually assign one for every post and ensures your featured image is always relevant to the content.

When Disabled, HighGround leaves the featured image field empty. You can still set one manually in the WordPress editor.

Duplicate Image Issue

Some WordPress themes display the featured image at the top of the post automatically through their single post template. Since HighGround also places that same image within the article body, you may end up seeing it twice - once from the theme and once inline. If that’s happening on your site, disable this setting to prevent the duplication. The image will still appear in its normal position within the article content; it just won’t be assigned as the featured image as well.

Saving

Click Save Settings to apply your changes. This takes effect on the next post HighGround creates. Existing posts are not affected.
