To configure image placement, go to HighGround → Settings, then click the Images tab.
This setting controls where HighGround places images within each section of your article.
Placement
Three options are available:

After Heading - Places each image directly below its section’s H2 heading. This gives your posts a consistent, predictable structure where readers immediately see a relevant visual before diving into the text. It’s the most common pattern across editorial blogs and content sites.
Mid Content - Places images between paragraphs within the section body. This breaks up longer blocks of text and keeps readers engaged as they scroll, creating a more magazine-style reading experience.
Random - Mixes both approaches throughout the article. Some sections will get an image after the heading, others will get one mid-content. This creates a more natural, less templated feel - as if a human editor placed each image by hand.
Saving
Click Save Settings to apply your changes. These settings take effect on the next post HighGround creates. Image placement in existing posts is not affected.
